The source project
An Unreal Engine project with original C++ or Blueprints, gameplay logic and build instructions helps us understand what your team built.

A little bird, a good conversation

Your chat is saved with your enquiry and emailed to Pasha, Pennie and Andrew. OpenAI helps Wattle reply. Please leave out passwords, personal data and confidential code. Wattle can explain things; a person reviews any offer.
You’re all done. If you have a moment, you can also tell us a little about your project. Nothing is sold or licensed by enquiring.
Goodwattle is looking for studio-owned Unreal Engine projects: shipped games, vertical slices and substantial prototypes. Explore a purchase or licence for the original source project, C++ and Blueprint systems, and development materials you control.

Good work has more to give
We want to understand the original technical work behind your game, with a clear scope and rights agreed before handover.
An Unreal Engine project with original C++ or Blueprints, gameplay logic and build instructions helps us understand what your team built.
Original shaders, animation systems, world-building tools and development history can be part of the conversation.
A suitable licence can preserve your commercial rights while permitting agreed uses. Outright purchases are also possible.
What we look for
Source control
Most Unreal studios keep projects in Perforce rather than git, and that’s fine. Changelist history, descriptions and reviews show how a project was built, and buyers value that history as they do pull requests.
We can work from a Perforce depot, Plastic SCM or Unity Version Control, or git with LFS. We agree what is exported, and how, before anyone touches the depot.
Third-party assets
Assets bought from the Unreal Marketplace, Fab, Quixel or other stores are licensed to you, not owned by you, so they are excluded from anything we offer. So are engine source and plugins you didn’t write.
Tell us roughly what share of the project is third-party. The original code, Blueprints, shaders, levels and art your team made are what we assess.
What it could pay
Smaller game projects can range from A$200 to A$10,000. Substantial studio-owned projects can be worth A$60,000 or more. Value depends on scope, quality, history, rights and what buyers need at the time. Every project is appraised individually; this is not a guaranteed offer.

A LITTLE CLARITY
Your work. Your next chapter.
Let’s make the possibilities clear.

Start with a short overview or public demo. For a detailed appraisal we discuss access to the source project and agreed materials; a packaged game alone does not describe all the work.
